About Me

I am an executive producer at Spectrum News 1 North Carolina. Previously, I worked as an MMJ for 7 years before switching to producing in November of 2023. In February of 2025, I was promoted to be one of our executive producers.
As a producer and now executive producer, I’ve helped lead our coverage tracking Helene’s devastation across Western North Carolina. In the last year, we’ve put together specials commemorating 3 months, 6 months, and one year since the storm hit.
I first started working in Charlotte as an MMJ in November of 2020. As an MMJ with the company, I covered the COVID-19 pandemic, local schools, county commissions, weather, breaking news, and numerous sports stories.
Prior to Spectrum News 1, I worked for WLTX in Columbia, South Carolina, and WMAZ in Macon, Georgia. While in South Carolina, I covered the State House and local politics, along with breaking news, news of the day, and some investigative pieces.
Additionally, I have years of experience covering hurricanes and their impact across three states, both out in the field and from the booth.
In 2018, with WLTX, I was sent to the South Carolina coast to report on Hurricane Florence and its damage to the Palmetto State. During the 8-day trip, I did dozens of live reports, packages, look lives, and social media reports not only for WLTX, but all of TEGNA.
While at WLTX, I also broke a major story on Richland County’s millions in misspent public penny tax dollars, leading to immediate changes and reforms to the program. Also, I was a part of team coverage reporting and investigating the city of Columbia's public housing crisis. The coverage earned our team a regional Murrow award.
In my two years in Macon, Georgia, I covered a wide variety of local politics, breaking news, military, and weather-related stories. Additionally, we covered the 2016 presidential election, earning an interview with then-candidate Mike Pence.
I graduated from Syracuse University in 2016 with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. My minors were in Political Science and Religion & the Media.
A Florida native, I love the ocean, swimming, college football, and seafood! When I’m not on the air, you can usually find me running a marathon, baking sugar cookies, watching any and all sports, or enjoying a Disney movie.
